How to Get Started in NIL GO

Follow these steps to register, get approved, and submit your NIL activity in the NIL GO platform:

 

Step 1: Log In

  • Go to NIL GO (www.nilgo.com)

  • Log in using your school email address

  • Enter your NCAA Eligibility Center ID
     

 

Step 2: Wait for Compliance Approval

  • Once your profile is submitted, it must be manually approved by your school’s compliance officer.

  • You will receive an email confirmation once your profile is approved.

  • If it takes longer than 12 hours, call Tony directly to request manual approval.
     

 

Step 3: Complete Your Profile

  • After receiving the approval email, log back into NIL GO.

  • Submit your full profile:

    • Add all social media accounts

    • Enter all personal information required by the system
       

 

Step 4: Add Your Deal(s)

You can either add the deal information yourself or have Blue A Collective assist you for a fee.

Important: No matter which route you choose, you (the athlete) must personally log in and submit the deal in NIL GO. Even if Blue A prepares it, it won’t be submitted until you log in and complete the process.

 

Option A: Do it Yourself

  1. Click “Add a New Deal”

  2. Upload a PDF of the deal terms (this does not need to be signed yet)

  3. Fill out the deal details:

    • Start date and end date

    • Indicate whether any payment has already been received

    • Enter the business name of the payor

⚠️ If the business is not already in NIL GO's system, they will receive an email to create a payor account and submit:

  • Entity type

  • EIN

  • Contact details
     

  1. Select all the types of activities involved (e.g. social media posts, autographs, appearances, etc.)

  2. Enter the quantity for each activity
     

 

Option B: Have Blue A Prepare the Deal

  • Cost: $150/hour (1-hour minimum)

  • Add the following as your Authorized Preparer:
    Name: Dalton Forsythe
    Organization: Blue A Collective
    Email: info@blueacollective.com
    Phone: (435) 754-4152
     

 

Step 5: What Happens Next?

Once you submit your deal in NIL GO, it will be reviewed. You’ll receive one of the following three outcomes:

 

✅ Cleared

  • You’re good to go!

  • You can officially accept and begin the deal.
     

 

❌ Not Cleared

  • This means the deal violates NIL rules or requirements.

  • However, you still have options:

    • You can restructure the deal (e.g., change payment terms, clarify services)

    • You can request support from Blue A to help reformat and resubmit it

    • You can appeal the decision through the appropriate process
       

 

🕒 Under Further Review

  • The deal has been escalated for review by the College Sports Commission.

  • This usually means more information or clarification is needed.

  • You will be notified once a final decision—cleared or not cleared—is made.
